Pills of History
The structure is located in an area rich in history, more precisely in Via Marco Polo 10, in the area also once known as “l'Ortu du Za Saru”

As evidenced by several historical documents, the structure stands on what were once the ancient medieval walls and close to the port that animated ancient Licata. This area hosted maritime traffic for centuries. Over time, the area became a sulfur deposit, part of the economic energy of nineteenth-century Sicily.

Despite urban growth towards the end of the 20th century, which has altered the historical landscape of the city center and the marina, staying here feels like walking between the past and the present, imagining the ships, the castle, and the walls that once defined the soul of Licata.
